Privacy policy

The short version

Keeper Picks is a static website. There are no accounts, no logins, no newsletter, no comments, and no advertising network. I do not sell, rent, or share personal information, because I do not collect it.

What is collected

Server logs. The web server records standard request information: IP address, browser user agent, the page requested, and a timestamp. This is ordinary web server behaviour, used to keep the site running and to spot abuse. Logs are retained for 30 days and then deleted.

Nothing else. There are no analytics scripts, no tracking pixels, no fingerprinting, and no third-party JavaScript of any kind on this site.

Cookies

Keeper Picks sets no cookies.

When you leave for Amazon

Following a product link takes you to Amazon.ca. Once you are there, Amazon's own privacy policy and cookies apply, including the cookie that credits this site for a resulting purchase. I never see who you are, what you looked at, or what you bought. Amazon reports totals, not people.

Contacting me

Messages sent through the contact page reach me by email and are used only to answer you.

Your rights

Since no personal data is stored beyond short-lived server logs, there is very little to request. If you believe I hold information about you and want it removed, ask through the contact page and it will be deleted.

Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the date at the top.
